AMERICAN WATCHES
Pocket ~ Railroad ~ Wrist
Waltham ~ Elgin ~ Hampden ~ Howard ~ Illinois ~ Hamilton ~ Columbia
among many others

Information about some of the American Watches that were produced in vast numbers is being prepared. We shall try to include details about history, qualities. grades, serial numbers and age dating and will offer search facilities at reasonable rates.  The American watch industry manufactured many millions of excellent watches from about mid 19th century onwards many of which have survived and are valued hierlooms and collector items worldwide.  Quite often replacement parts are unavailable and these therefore must be fabricated again by hand, hence the repair and restoration demands high quality technical expertise.
